The ancient Buriano Bridge and the nature reserve called the Ponte Buriano and Penna Reserve are just outside the city of Arezzo at the point where the three valleys of the Casentino, Valdarno and Val di Chiana come together. It’s a Tuscan landscape full of biodiversity, with a great link to history: here the frame of the Buriano bridge stands out, also known as the Bridge of Mona Lisa, because Leonardo da Vinci placed it in the background of his most-loved masterpiece.
In this setting, between the blue river Arno and the Pratomagno mountain, outdoor activities – mostly related to water – are carried out throughout the year:
An exciting descent on a group raft, working as a team to navigate in the beautiful setting of the fresh and wild Arno river.
A wild adventure along the blue waters of the Arno river, paddling close together on small individual rafts, always accompanied by an expert guide.
A kayak trip in the beautiful Ponte Buriano Reserve, discovering hidden beaches and waterfalls. All accompanied by excellent local wine tasting onboard!
A fantastic and refreshing aquatic hike, discovering a wild and lush environment on the crystal-clear waters of the Ciuffenna stream… and jumping inside its pools!
There is a calendar of organized activities that you can join, but each one can be organized on request for groups! Ask us for the current calendar and reservations
