COMING FROM NORTH (Milan, Florence, Pisa)

On the A1 motorway going south, exit at Incisa-Reggello. After the motorway toll, turn right and drive for 300m. At the roundabout take the first exit towards Castelfranco di Sopra/Reggello, then keep following the signs for Castelfranco di Sopra for about 15km. Once in Castelfranco di Sopra (you will see the tower) go around the small town. At the first roundabout take the second exit; at the second one take the first exit heading for Loro Ciuffenna/Certignano. Drive on the Setteponti rd., get past Certignano and its small bridge, then pay attention: after 500m there is a small road going up to the hill on the left side, while on the right (among the olive trees) you can see the signs for Podere Casarotta (together with those of Odina and Querceto). Turn left and follow this road uphill for about 2 Km. Look on your right for another sign of Podere Casarotta: turn right and take the gravel road (please drive slowly). Follow this road for 300m and you will find the parking on your left.
(You can exit at Valdarno exit too, the one after Incisa: in this case, follow the directions below)

COMING FROM SOUTH (Arezzo, Rome, Naples)

On A1 motorway going north, exit at Valdarno. At the junction enter the large roundabout at your left, then take the second exit going towards San Giovanni Valdarno, driving for 1,7 km on the Poggilupi rd. You will find another small roundabout: take the first exit (marked Firenze/Castelfranco/Figline) that keeps going straight in the same direction. After 1,7 km there is a crossroad: turn right towards Castelfranco/Faella/Persignano. Drive for 400mt you will find another roundabout: take the first exit marked Piantravigne/Malva. After 2,5 km there is another small roundabout: take the second exit for Piantravigne, and enter the narrow Piantravigne rd (be careful: it’s two-way). After about 6 km, you will pass through the small but scenic Piantravigne village; keep going until you have to stop at a T- junction, then turn right and pay attention. After 300m there is a small road going up to the hill on the left side, while on the right (among the olive trees) you can see the signs for Podere Casarotta (together with those of Odina and Querceto). Turn left and follow this road uphill for about 2 Km. Look on your right for another sign of Podere Casarotta: turn right and take the gravel road (please drive slowly). Follow this road for 300m and you will find the parking on your left.

Please note that being in the countryside we do not have an exact road address. If you need to use your GPS we recommend to insert as destination one of the nearest villages:

• CERTIGNANO if you are coming from Incisa/Reggello A1 exit, Castelfranco, Figline Valdarno
• PIANTRAVIGNE if you are coming from Valdarno A1 exit, San Giovanni Valdarno, Montevarchi
• MALVA if you are coming from Loro Ciuffenna, Terranuova Bracciolini
