Podere Casarotta is a beatiful, ancient farmhouse in Tuscany which has been renovated in recent years, converted in holiday house with private swimming pool and divided into luxurious apartments for your holiday rentals.
The villa initially belonged to the “gonfaloniere” (the ancient mayor) of Loro Ciuffenna; then was run by farmers that made a living with their own production of olive oil and wine. The farmhouse was later owned by the Antinori family, and by the S.Maria nuns. On an original stone in the walls of the main building is carved the date 1774, when the farmhouse became part of Loro Ciuffenna. The actual owner’s intention was to restore the villa maintaining as much as possible of the original Tuscany architecture: in all the apartments you will find terracotta floors and ceilings with exposed wooden beams.
